Jennifer can teach and coach leaders through training, coaching and online courses.  She has over 20 years of experience in teaching, training, consulting and coaching in education, technology, finance and regulation, healthcare and small business development.  In addition to a doctorate in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, she is certified in Positive Psychology, Appreciative Inquiry and the Intercultural Development Inventory.

Jennifer Thompson, Ph.D.

Jennifer is an Industrial/ Organizational psychologist that helps businesses transform their culture to increase employee engagement and performance. Jennifer helps leaders create a more positive culture for their employees to thrive and helps employees to feel inspired to come to work, more confident in themselves and their capacity to perform, which leaves them ready to take on more challenges. Both leaders and employees are now more resilient and faster at bouncing back, which in turn helps the organization grow. She also allows people to uncover their strengths so that they can leverage them to perform better in the business.

She has combined her career as a business psychologist with the newest field of positive psychology to understand how this research can have a positive impact on organizations and individuals. As an expert in statistics and research methodology, Jennifer can measure unseen phenomena in organizations and how this impacts company culture. Through her PhD in Industrial/ Organizational Psychology and a Certification in Positive Psychology, Jennifer brings together a strong scientific background paired with the latest research on emotions and motivation to generate a powerful result.

Jennifer has the capacity to take complex scientific information and break it down simply for general audiences. She uses adult learning principles to make training engaging and actually change behaviors.  Jennifer has been a professor in Business Psychology at The Chicago School  for over 20 years.  She has experience in the airline, technology, finance and healthcare industries.

Jennifer is a charismatic speaker that loves to help people thrive and live their best. Through her style, she is able to increase positive emotions and help others be more empowered and resilient, as well as discover meaning and purpose at work. Her prior experience is in designing selection systems, assessment centers, performance management systems, surveys and education/training.
